Coup de Cœur Award in Sustainable Development of the Assembly of French Citizens Abroad (October 2025)
On 15 October 2025, Objectif France-Inde received the prestigious Coup de Cœur Award in Sustainable Development from the Assembly of French Citizens Abroad for its innovative commitment to sustainable development in India. Organised by a group of elected representatives of French citizens abroad under the chairmanship of Ms Patricia Connell, elected representative of French citizens in the United Kingdom, and awarded by a jury chaired by Ms Valérie Masson-Delmotte, co-chair of the IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change), the award was presented to OFI at the Quai d'Orsay, in the presence of Mr Jean-Noël Barrot, Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs.
Coup de Cœur Award of Fondation RAJA-Danièle Marcovici (September 2025)
On 30 September 2025, the RAJA-Danièle Marcovici Foundation honoured Objectif France-Inde by awarding it the Prix Coup de Cœur in celebration of the 10th anniversary of its Women & Environment programme. This prize, awarded by an internal committee of the RAJA Group and presented by Isabelle Rome, former Minister Delegate for Gender Equality, recognises the commitment of OFI and its partners to women in rural communities in southern India.
“Best Institution serving the Women Award” for our partner SEVAI (August 2025)
On Independence Day 2025 (15th August), to honour the exemplary services rendered to women and the Community by our partner SEVAI, the Tamil Nadu State government bestowed the Best Institution Serving Women Award for the year 2025 on the founder of SEVAI, Mr K. Govindaraju. This Outstanding Organisation Award is dedicated to Women leaders in SEVAI and to the actions for Women's Empowerment supported by OFI.
"Best Water Body Conservator Award" for our partner GRAMIUM (June 2025)
On World Environment Day 2025, the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, Mr M. K. Stalin, presented the Best Water Body Conservator Award to Dr P. Narayanan, Director of our partner GRAMIUM, during a ceremony organised by the Tamil Nadu State Government's Ministry of Environment and Forests.

Trophée des Français de l'étranger (march 2024)

On March 19, 2024, Benjamine Oberoi was awarded the Trophée des Français de l'étranger in the Social Impact category. The award was presented at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Quai d'Orsay) in the presence of the Minister Delegate, Mr Franck Riester, the Chairman and Founder of lepetitjournal.com, Mr Hervé Heyraud, the representative of Malakoff Humanis, the trophy's sponsor, and numerous other personalities. It rewards the work done by Benjamine Oberoi and OFI's teams and partners in India to help rural populations, particularly women.
Finalist of the Social and Humanitarian Trophy - Asia / Oceania (December 2019)
In December 2019, Benjamine Oberoi was among the five finalists for the French Abroad Trophy for OFI's action with women and the creation of Self Help Groups. "The little newspaper" of French people living abroad echoes it.
Appointment of Officer of the National Order of Merit (2014)
Benjamine Oberoi was named, in 2014, Knight of the National Order of Merit for “his entrepreneurial spirit in the hotel industry as well as for his remarkable commitment to disadvantaged populations, in particular the disabled and children of streets ”.
